If you visited the Hitchin Beer & Cider Festival this weekend, you’ll know the weather wasn’t exactly on our side.
The wind howled, the rain fell sideways, and yet our team somehow kept smiling whilst serving toasties to the masses. We couldn’t be prouder of them.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall. We welcomed plenty of new recruits to the Little Deli Grilled Cheese Fan Club (not a real thing) and loved catching up with so many familiar faces.
Missed us? Fear not. The toasties are still very much available at the deli — just without the risk of your napkin blowing into Bedfordshire.
🍷 Hooray for Hintxos
You may have heard us mention them once or twice… or a lot… but they’re here!
Inspired by the pintxos (pron: “pinchos”) bars of Northern Spain, these perfect little mouthfuls are designed to be enjoyed alongside a glass of wine and good company.

Current creations include combinations such as roast scallop with pea purée, crab with cauliflower and avocado, and tuna tartare.

Our next tasting evening takes place this Thursday, and there are still a handful of tickets available.
