Smooth, sweet, mellow a traditional Dutch Gouda with a hint of walnut and caramel
Wijngaard Goat Gouda – or the anglicised "Wyngaard" – is a smooth and mellow cheese, with a gentle sweetness and notes of walnut and crème fraîche. Produced from the milk of small local family farms, it is carefully matured for 4-6 months to develop a rich, buttery texture and a lingering hint of caramel.
Founded by “Grandpa Piet” in 1936, when he began exchanging cheese for produce with local farmers, the Van den Wijngaard family legacy, now in it's fourth generation, continues today bringing you an artisanal Gouda that embodies the Dutch tradition.
Available in (approx) 250g, 500g, 750g portions. Freshly cut & wrapped to order.
