Description

Cornish Kern is a multi-award-winning hard farmhouse cheese made in Cornwall by Lynher Dairies using rich Ayrshire cow’s milk. Closely textured and matured for 16–20 months, Kern’s flavour is a harmonious blend of smooth buttery richness, sweet caramel, and nutty Alpine savouriness. Its black wax rind preserves both the cheese’s dense body and sophisticated depth, reminiscent of classic Gouda or Comté. Winner of the 2017 World Cheese Awards, Cornish Kern offers a memorable, long-lasting finish and a touch of natural salt crystals for subtle crunch.​
