Gentler, sweeter and more balanced than a typical blue cheese, it boasts a creamy, buttery paste pierced with the delicate blue veining characteristic of a Stilton
Short description:
Rich, velvety, and perfectly balanced, this classic English blue delivers deep savoury flavours with gentle sweetness and a clean finish. Creamy indulgence with character in every bite.
Full description:
Produced in the village of Colston Bassett, Nottinghamshire, this hand-ladled Stilton is made using traditional methods by one of England’s most respected creameries. The careful hand-ladling preserves the curd’s delicate structure, resulting in a smooth, open texture that crumbles softly while melting on the palate. Matured for around eight weeks, it develops complex layers of flavour — buttery and mellow with earthy undertones and a subtle mineral tang from the blue veining. A superb choice for cheeseboards, fine wines, or after-dinner enjoyment.
